INDUSTRIAL POWDER COATING SERVICES

icon industrial powder coating services

Industrial powder coating services and application is defined as the process of painting a surface where paint is in a powder form through the use of application equipment (powder coating guns) that transmits an electrical charge to the paint so that it can adhere to the parts. Once the part is covered with paint, there is a curing process where the paint is taken to its melting point. The liquefied paint flows over the surface forming a uniform layer on the part that solidifies into a strong and durable finish, resistant to scratches, cracking, blistering, UV radiation, and oxidation.

Scanpaint has 3 coating lines, two of them with an iron phosphate pretreatment and one with a zirconium-based nano-ceramic pretreatment. The zirconium process is equivalent to the zinc phosphate treatment, with the advantage of being an environmentally friendly process through the removal of the zinc sludges and of the temperature requiring stages.

The parts that can be painted using these processes can have the following maximum sizes:

Height: 49 in
Width: 31 in
Length: 275 in

The maximum weight that can be hung on the conveyor is 110 pounds per linear meter.

We can apply a wide variety of colors and finishes, and we have business with leading domestic and international paint suppliers.
