QUALITY LABORATORY Scanpaint has a laboratory to support production lines and issue product and process quality certificates. It is equipped to carry out adhesion, curing, and impact strength tests, with thickness gauges, oven thermography, colorimeter, gloss meters, and measuring phosphate deposits, among other tests and regulations of the business. STORAGE Scanpaint has 53,800 ft2 dedicated to store products to be painted and finished goods. Inventory control can be handled by First In First Out, by batch and/or purchase orders, or space can be allocated to establish a KAN BAN system and in this manner the painted material that is shipped is then requested from the customer to be received, painted, and replace the material that was previously delivered. TRANSPORTATION Scanpaint has three 3.5-ton trucks and two cargo truck to serve our customers and support them in case of urgencies. MASKING Scanpaint provides masking and caps & plugs service for parts where paint should be avoided such as threads, grounding points, etc. SPECIFIC PACKING REQUIREMENTS If the material needs to be packaged in a special way, Scanpaint can do this whitin its facilities offering an advantage of shipping the product directly to the end customer. This practice has cost and time savings. ASSEMBLY Scanpaint has the necessary space available to incorporate assembly lines in case the product, once painted, requires assembly. ISO TS 16949:2009 Facility 2 is certify for provision of powder coating services, electrophoretic painting and phosphatizing of metal parts. Excluding: Product design – ISO/TS 16949:2009 Clause 7.3 |
